DeSantis doesn't alienate suburban voters and consistently underperform down-ballot R's in the suburbs, yet he's 11% below Trump?
The Lincoln Project started doing this a few months ago after that conservative conference that showed DeSantis ahead of Trump. They ramped up their attacks on DeSantis and ENCOURAGED Trump to run again.
The media is scared of DeSantis. Ignore them, folks. If we allow them to engineer our primary then we deserve to lose.

What is the argument for people who voted for Trump to continue participating in elections? Nothing has changed since the last one. Votes are being counted through black box computer algos by our political opponents and republicans will not win.
By participating, you give legitimacy to the electoral process, and do nothing to make a meaningful change. Furthermore, it is a waste of time and energy. Polls are one thing, fake as they are, I think demoralized trump voters will turn out at a much lower rate than anyone realizes
What is the argument to vote? Dont say "not voting is what THEY want". THEY want you to vote because it supports the illusion and doesnt affect them.

In 2018 DeSantis did just as well if not better on a percentage basis in the suburbs than Trump did in 2016, and 2018 was a Democrat year. 2020 was not a Democrat year. In 2020 Republicans maintained and added governorships and state legislatures, lost very few House seats, and maintained at least 50 seats in the Senate while Trump lost the PV.
DeSantis does not have the personal baggage that Trump does, and suburban voters nation-wide won't be alienated because of his conduct and rhetoric, both past and present, like they were with Trump.
Unlike Trump, DeSantis can actually articulate his message in a calm and composed manner and in turn, expose the activists in the media with facts. He also doesn't constantly step on his own dick and fall into the media's traps.
I mean, just look at Miami-Dade county:
2016 Miami-Dade (980,204 votes): Trump-333,999 (34.07%)
2018 Miami-Dade (799,024 votes): DeSantis-311,584 (39.00%)
