If president Harris asked you to list the 5 things you did to support DEI, you would cheerfully comply.

BINGO. Every aspect of this has suffered from poor planning and execution. Yet, saying that gets any number of names hurled your way.

The email literally asked for 30 seconds of work. What is confusing about that?

The DOD is telling us not to reply to it so there is alot confusion going on

It is almost like circumventing the entire chain of command on a Saturday evening and then troll tweeting about it isn't a good way to manage such things. But, hey......"Rah, rah, Elon!".

All of these idiots whining about the email have clearly never read the email.

Yall sound like the people on the rant describing their high school football experience in relation to the big leagues

Acting like this is just a standard third party or consultant situation is apples to basketballs

And that has, of course, been explained already. And you, of course, didn’t read it or don’t understand it or don’t care to.

I've actually heard he sucks to work for, from people who deal directly with Space X.

How so? Explain it. Be specific.

I thought they didn't have access? Why would they know about something that would cause them stress if they didn't have access? Hmmm.

Maybe because their head isn't in the sand? What kinda stupid arse question is this?

Elon isn’t their boss. In fact some of the actual bosses have told employees not to respond to that performative email.

Cool. Now pretend you oversee 1 million employees. You still gonna check in with them individually?

There's a chain of command in management, no one oversees 1 million employees.

Sure

First I’ll ask that one of the many posters in this thread who have mentioned the consultant or third party audit example to post a screenshot of a time they’ve received an email similar to the one DOGE sent out.

List 5 things, respond or it will be deemed a resignation. Something along those specific lines.

Next, post a follow up screenshot of your direct supervisor telling you to ignore that initial email and do not respond.

Then we can get into the differences between the specifics of Jim Bob’s employment at H&H paper factory as opposed to the size and scope of the federal government of the United States.

Why are they bitching about having to do this?

Not all the bitching is coming from anti Trump/ lazy gov employee sources. Some depts (like Patel's FBI) would rather handle the questioning of their staff in house. And some things some of these folks do is classified and their dept heads have to be careful of the information being expressed in these email.

Why? Are you claiming a CEO has never emailed the company with directives they received from a consultant? Is that what you’re alleging?

So you’re not going to explain. That’s what I thought.

Maybe they would be embarrassed to mention taking a shite, whacking off, watching The View, making a trip to Starbucks, and visiting Only Fans

I’m simply asking for an example of one similar to the one DOGE sent out. The instructions were pretty clear. Do you have one or not?

I’m trying to, you’re just bad at this.

But he’s not. He’s the POTUS, not a dictator/king. POTUS has some power, but not as much as some of you might think.
