I know you lack reading comprehension skills because you are so emotional like a woman but to clarify he said the good responses should be considered for promotion. In other words, the people who showed they get shite done and the shite they got done can be verified.

Not just getting promoted because they responded on a Saturday as you tried to claim.

Don’t know why there is a. Issue with this. I have to give weekly status reports. Been like that for 20 years. What we did, what’s on for next week and any issues. Standard working procedures.

I think the issue is that status reports tend to be for your direct supervisor who knows your work, not someone several echelons away from your work who is expressly just looking for convenient ways to terminate people.

Everything Elon is doing is what executives/owners of a large business do to avoid doing mass layoffs for labor protection reasons. This isn't about increasing knowledge, it is about finding some minor violation of instructions - possibly out of the employee's control - to be able to fire with cause on mass without it being legally a layoff.

DOGE's problem is a bit different. Many of the non-spoils game employees cannot just be fired without cause. They've tried to offer a severance package but people aren't biting on it like they hoped. So they cut probationary period employees because they don't have to give cause. However it still isn't hitting their desired effect. So now they're just going to do a constant stream of new requirements and such to see who misses the email or whatever then fire them for cause individually.

Sounds to me you're the bozo for buying beachfront property in AZ when there are no beaches. Guy that sold it to you must have seen you coming a mile away.

You know we don't have to guess, right?

Here's exactly what he said:
quote:

A large number of good responses have been received already. These are the people who should be considered for promotion.

Wonder how they handle people out for a while for vacation, sick leave, medical leave, etc.

Wow what a quandary. Talk about an insurmountable problem.

As I said, he clearly stated good responses. Not just that they responded.

I am sorry that you don't read so well.

One caveat: we won't catch all the dead/fictitious employees. Whoever set those employees accounts up (and, most likely, illegally pocketing the paycheck) will just log into the email account, make up 5 BS bullet points and hit "Send". But, we'll catch some.

I bet there is another plan in the works.

I wonder if he has a program to detect AI responses to the email.

My guess is they end up trying to terminate people on FMLA leave, PTO w/ no internet connectivity, or folks with non-standard schedules who will not be able to access their email on a government workstation until after the deadline.

Or, and hear me out on this, they escalate the non-responders to another level and verify those that were on leave.

Why are people so obsessed with the intricacies of this?

“But what if they are sick?”

Good grief

So, IYO, do you think he is simply stating that those who responded should be promoted and the should be promoted part has nothing to do with the part where he says good responses?

Aren't you supposed to be some outstanding businessman who sold his company for millions and retired?

He very clearly pointed to people who replied "already." On a Saturday.

This isn’t difficult.

I never claimed that I was an outstanding businessman.

Does that bother you?

Why is a board of self-proclaimed pious religious men hanging on the every word of a degenerate deadbeat dad with 13 children by 4 women who does not take care of his children? You are all hypocrites and the sycophantic worship is frickin embarrassing. The irony of this board's gods being two degenerate immoral men is frickin hilarious.

This is simple lashing out at things going on that you don’t like.

Sad.
