labels may be unsupported but the "dumb people who are irrationally confident in their takes because they lack intelligence" is a sociological meme, at the least

Actually the problem with their conclusions is that the reality is all they really found is that basically everybody thinks they're smarter than they are. The reason why they somehow concluded that this was particularly unique among the Dumber people was simply the matters of degree. Oversimplified basically this means that the person with about a 110 IQ still thought they were probably 120 but the person with the 80 still probably thought they were 100 or better. The point being is the Miss was greater at the low end but that's really just a function of the fact that the ceiling only goes so high. So all they really found was something that probably we all know. That exceedingly few people are as smart as they think they are.

I should add that the other problem with the conclusion is it pretty much fails to recognize that even smart people are dumb in some areas. In fact you can be a smart person Dumber in a certain area than a objectively less intelligent person. For example if you grabbed 10 random people from a Convention of brain surgeons and ask them to help you with your cattle ranch you're probably not going to have nice results. You're probably better off grabbing 10 cattle ranchers. And that's just the obvious but the cattle ranchers probably would also be better at helping you with basically anything related to farming than the genius brain surgeons. I meet people all the time who I know are objectively intelligent yet somehow painfully ignorant or just flat out stupid in certain areas

You're talking to a guy who not only cannot admit when he is in the wrong - as in like psychologically incapable due to rampant narcissism - but when called out for being in the wrong such as he was this morning when he said people were "virtue signalling" when expressing outrage towards parents mutilating their children's genitals he simply doubles down on it and says the same stupid shite again.

Him trying to call others out for DK is ironic in the extreme. There is nobody on this board who thinks they are smarter than they really are than SFP.

This is coming from a retard who only yesterday contradicted someone in a thread only to repeat the same frickin thing they had just said.

But I had said that same thing 2 hours before much earlier in the thread which I was pointing out which apparently you are too understand

You are the one confused, not Musk. There are currently companies that are worth more than the entire economy of the world in 1700, at which time the world’s GDP was $371 billion. One of those companies is Space X. The world’s combine domestic product will continue to grow, and a single company in the future will be worth more than today’s sum of all the world’s companies combined.

I think people are assuming that what Musk is saying is that it will be worth more than the entire global earth economy in a contemporary sense.

As in 25 years from now or whatever horizon SpaceX will be orders of magnitude more valuable than the rest of the earth's economy 25 years from now.

If that's how people are interpreting it, it is right to suggest that that will not happen.

How the hell does that change anything? The person came into the thread long after it had been started and gave their opinion on the matter. You literally contradicted them and then repeated exactly the same thing they said. You told them they were wrong and then said the same shite. It was stupid. Period. It doesn't matter if you had said it previously.

And I wouldn't even be bringing it up if you hadn't tried to insult my intelligence in this thread. The moral of the story here is you don't have any room to talk.

And here is the other half of the dynamic retard duo in this thread proving once again what an idiot he is. No, that is not what Musk said. He explicitly says in the fricking tweet in the OP of this thread that he "sees a path for SpaceX to be worth orders of magnitude more than THE CURRENT ECONOMY OF EARTH."

So exactly like when you didn't understand the difference between an "investment" and a "gift," you once again prove you cannot frickin read.

Also, just like that other thread, it is also in the damn thread title, which means it's at the top of every page of the thread and above every message you have typed into this thread. You have failed to read the subject material numerous times in this one thread. Probably 10 times or more. And there wasn't much material to read at all. I can only assume you're actually incapable of reading.
