Verbal warning, written warning, administrative leave, and termination.

Most fed jobs have unions but they abide by the same rules as any other union job. The nonsense about not being able to fire govt employees in nonsense.

Were it true there would be a class action lawsuit with 334 million americans demanding to get a job they didnt have to work at, its nonsense.

Musk sent it, the dept heads approved, the employees should comply. Full stop.

And for the nonsense of, they may not have an office, they may have been gored by a bull and cant respond, they had an emergency with their comfort goat, stop with the excuses and tell me why millions of employees arent responding not the "exceptions". The 30 sexes argument aint working anymore and it doesnt work here.

No, but it is true. You don't have to respond to them or even read them really if you don't want to.

Beautiful. Then they get put on administrative leave. The next step required to fire them.

You may want to take a look at Trump's meeting with Macron (if I knew how to embed from X, i would have it on here) but President Trump just said, "if you don't respond to the email, you are fired." Those are Trump's words, not Elon's.

and what does "administrative leave" accomplish? is that step one in actually being fired?

Yes. They have to try and CYA and prove due process was provided many of these employees, or a shite ton of lawsuits will be filed. We'll still see lawsuits filed but many less of them, with no chance of them winning, if they cover their assess and exhaust the proper procedure.

I wish they would just do it and not advertise.

Announce what happened 3 mins after it happened.

They would have to fire the whole DOD. But truthfully, i get one from PDJT, I'll do as he asks. Until then I have to obey the chain command.

I get it you guys are upset and I am irritated by the thing as well but shite just doesn't happen the way you guys think it does.

seems that would defeat the purpose of due process and encourage more lawsuits…

I just wonder how many of these people we're going to find out don't actually exist.
