Trump-endorsed Bernie Moreno crisscrossed the state Monday with Sen. JD Vance and Kari Lake. Rival Matt Dolan rallied with Gov. Mike DeWine and allies of former Gov. John Kasich.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — On the eve of an Ohio Republican Senate primary awash in resentment and rage, two leading candidates stuck close to their tribes Monday, reinforcing battle lines in a race that has become a referendum on former President Donald Trump.

Allies of Trump and his preferred candidate, Bernie Moreno, barnstormed the state, warning that a vote Tuesday for state Sen. Matt Dolan would deal a blow to their MAGA movement. Dolan, meanwhile, campaigned here with Gov. Mike DeWine, who despite feuding with the right-wing base has remained popular among moderates and independents key to Dolan’s coalition.

Man, OH has really produced some seriously low-T politicians, haven't they?

Then again, I suppose pretty much every state has.

Moreno was also being boosted by Chuck Schumer.

So I guess it's MAGA & Liberals vs HHTM grab the ankles wing

Dems launch 11th-hour meddling operation in Ohio GOP Senate primary

Duty and Country PAC, a group affiliated with Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, is spending over $2.5 million to air with a TV ad that heavily touts Moreno’s support from Trump and calls him “too conservative for Ohio.” It will begin airing on Thursday and is set to run through Tuesday’s primary.

And if they're doing this because they want to face him and win?

If Chuck Schumer had anything to do with it you better do a 180 and walk away from it.

I don't enjoy it at all. We need more republicans in Congress versus meaningless primary wins.

However, I do have to laugh at the ignorance displayed by Trump and Cult45.

Having Kari Lake out on the campaign trail is a fantastic idea as well. What group is she going to claim the GOP doesn't need and should go home?

Dolan has been pretty conservative in his time in the Ohio Senate while being Finance Chair. Some of the most conservative budgets in state history.

I think either of the three would likely beat Sherrod Brown, but he is a political animal with big time union support. Dolan nerfs that a bit with his name recognition in Northeast Ohio (union country).

Try to come up with over 70 million votes that disagree with you, then.

They literally have already done this plan with great success (2022)

What has he done worth discussing? I don't mean virtue signaling, I mean different actions and results.

Trump is on the ballot and his coattails in Ohio are massive.

Trump and Vance could drag heckin Fetterman across the finish line in Ohio.

The most electable General Election candidate in the race is LaRose. He carried JD Vance's arse over the finish line in 2022 by outperforming him by over 200k votes.

But of course, like in most states, Republicans in Ohio are going full retard and are about to piss away another winnable General Election. Dolan is weak and woke, and Moreno is a fraud who performs the worst in General Election polling.

That's just not true, and DeWine carried them all.
