Wait what? First it was she doesn’t have any experience and now it’s “only criminal experience” and “routine stuff” like homicide trials?

Still waiting for you to tell us about a lick of civil experience she has... and yes criminal law is as routine as it gets.

ETA: and no homicide trials in City court. DUI trial is as good as it gets.

I don't presume to speak for jbgleason, this may be to which he is referring:

Lolz if Gleason thinks Hester got Gary Chambers to write an article for him.

We Republicans like voting for people named "Moore".

I know what halpens in City Court. She has been in District Court for 20 years. Pretty good training ground for City Court IMO.

And I very much dispute the “clip board holder” analogy. Senior Clerk does a hell of a lot more than that. We are going to have to disagree on what constitutes relative experience. I much prefer someone who has been in the courtroom in some capacity to a “practicing attorney” who has been doing civil litigation involving lots of letter writing and negotiating with insurance companies over pain and suffering for their PI clients. Be honest, how much time do civil attorneys actually spend in the courtroom?

No. Hester had a robo call going the last part of the week where he straight called her a racist. I am working to get a copy of it posted online and will provide a link. It was beyond the pale. And it was awfully damn convenient that Chambers, the Baton Rouge Business Report and Hester all started the “she racis” accusations simultaneously. I just don’t believe that was a coincidence.

Just got back home from vacation since Wednesday and my Hester sign that’s been in my front yard for 3 months now is gone. Funny how that happens, eh?

Moore is incredibly unqualified to be judge. Can't get a real job so you use your family name to get you elected to one.

The fact Schroeder so easily won can't be encouraging for JBE

No, much more than that. He is the head of violent crimes in the 19th. Ironically, when Hillar Moore needed to promote someone to the most important job under him, he chose Hester.

Head of violent crimes in a major American city at the age of 34 isn't accomplished?

I'd love to know what you deem accomplished to be.

How is a judge being the sister of a sitting D.A. not an amazing conflict of interest?
