Economy opening - this is how it’s going to play out

1. Trump convenes Economic Task Force and they eventually recommend opening with certain conditions (prudent/calculated)
2. Republican Govs (and a few moderate Dem Govs) agree and move forward with recommendations
3. Blue states watch as red states recover economically while their idiot leaders tow the line of resistance to Trump.
4. Meanwhile the media blames Trump for any anomaly or situation gone wrong with the Covid #s in the Red States.
5. Chaos ensues in Blue states

Sounds about right.
Those without comorbidity age 45 and younger go back to work if they have work to go back to. Extensive and repeated testing for the virus is done. Everyone is tested for the antibody and those with the antibody go back to work if they have work to go back to.

I don’t follow how 1-4 lead to number 5. Large unemployment checks will keep that from happening.

All States ask for Fed Bailout as they are unable (actually unwilling to cut services) to meet their budget due to loss of sales taxes, income taxes, associated business taxes, fees of all sorts.
Unlike the FedGov, States cannot run a deficit and cannot just issue debt willy-nilly to fund themselves. Talking absurd shite like CA and IL and territories like PR getting all their long term Dem Gov Handout deficits wiped clean on the work and earnings of the rest of the nations taxpayers. Our National Debt is headed towards a rocket launch deficit bailout that will triple or quadruple the current total debt.

Not sure your stance or situation but I make more sitting at home. I’d gladly go back to work but there’s plenty who will wait till the money runs out before going back.
