The fact that many who receive our tax dollars have no concept how this type of video will be received demonstrates the deterioration of this nation.

I think we need to start an investigation into the SNAP program for widespread fraud similar to all the bullshite being pulled in Minnesota. For the life of me I cannot figure out why someone calling themselves SNAP would be arguing to keep junk food on the SNAP program unless they have a personal stake in it.

I think it's pretty widely known that food companies lobby the government to keep their processed junk food-like items on the dole.
And this is why I'm a conservative instead of a populist. The government shouldn't be in the business of handing out food paid for with taxpayer dollars in the first place. Of course this kind of "crony capitalism" will inevitably follow.

They need to make the cards hot pink, turn on a siren at the top of the register and have it chirp every time someone uses EBT. There used to be a sense of shame when using the taxpayers money to feed yourself that shame is gone.
It’s cute you think these people have e shame

If I was in charge of SNAP the only eligible items would be brown rice, beans, fresh fruits, vegetables, fish, lean chicken, or eggs (and limited to an allotment that would correspond to roughly 3 x week), maybe quinoa or a couple of other healthy foods that I'm not thinking about off the top of my head.
Makes sense. Your policy would have clear guidelines.

She admits at the end that she has the cash to pay for it, she's just upset cause we aren't buying it for her.

Then don't give the fatties any, either.
But it's natural "mostly sugar", and will be healthier than processed corn syrup. And most likely ebt eligible.

Just go back to booklets of food stamp dollars.
Make the highest denomination 5 dollars so you have to tear sheet after sheet to get up to the purchase price, and all purchases are rounded up. No change given.

But you just said let them have honey. See, that is the problem... confusing guidelines. SNAP is an abomination. Trust me, I am not arguing for it. I just think the policy implementation is arse.

That might be the most exercise she has had all week. Does seem proficient in the use of a touchscreen, should consider apply for a job there. Then she won't have to have the taxpayer buy her children's French toast sticks.

Don't you think that's by design?

Forget the incredible fraud that accompanied paper stamps, why do you want the grocers to collect extra taxpayer money?

I said it because it's the healthier alternative to syrup. Like the..."buy milk, eggs, bread" alternative to the premade frozen toast sticks.
