Just a bit shy of 2000 signatures on a petition by students to disinvite the Moose as speaker at the public high school made famous in the Supreme Court decision sixty years ago. They say it should not be made into a political event at all as it is about them attaining their goals and dreams.

I don't disagree with them... Seriously, who would want a first lady speaking at their graduation? All it is going to do is be a big hubbub about her.
WTF has she done to earn the honor to speak?
President, VP, Business Exec, USSC Justice, etc... I can see speaking, but the first lady rides the coat tails of her husband and should be respected?
ETA: And even if it was Laura Bush, I would feel the same way.

If she does give the speech I'll bet she mentions how important it is 'to give back to the community.'
