I try to read most of these crazy articles with an ability to put myself in my ante-thesis’s shoes. I try to look at things from their perspective and say “well that’s dumb, but this person has probably been taught x,y, and z since birth”
It’s my way of coping with the insanity on the left. I find myself unable to do that in this situation. The left is absolutely unhinged and if this is how a majority of their base feels, then I will enjoy the next few cycles of republican leadership

It's insane to me just how much of a bubble they are in. Let's be honest, Leftism is mostly confined to a few isolated, coastal areas and big cities. You can travel around, especially outside the cities in any blue state in the country and find plenty of conservatives. Media control and media/online astroturfing, plus massive organized voter fraud is what gives them a sense of being mainstream. Their actual voting base is uneducated borderline illiterate welfare rats who care nothing for social issues (or any issues really) and aren't the kind posting on DU. Conservatives really are everywhere. To be in this kind of bubble it's not just only associating with these people and only consuming this media. You really have to be limited in your movement and exposure from a pure physical, geographical standpoint to be this out of touch.
