Not exactly. I use IB, and I route my trades to certain market makers. It depends really. Sometimes to places where I get liquidity rebates. But I'm somewhat confused why I would need a MM for what I do. Anyone can buy a future's contract outright. It gets more difficult if I attempt to do a CFD. Anyone can hide and route options trades. Almost 24 hours if you can actually get to a dark pool that is trading overnight. But that game has been over for a long time. Trading by guys like me is silly. At one time it was like an advantaged player, but no longer. As close as I (anyone) can come if dumping using an algo, and hiding the volume.
