Not worried about all of that. I am thinking more along the line of how cheap I might be able to get a beachfront lot that was destroyed. It should be back to being nice again in 10 years and I am ready to retire.

Yep. Trump should wave that wand and fix it.
Well it does seem like that's a longer delay than usual. Maybe that is actually realistic. But the problem is that since it seems long, and since we don't know if that is just how long it takes, then people are going to base that length of time on what was observed and what wasn't observed.

And what we observed over the last 9 days was Trump attending a campaign rally for a candidate who was a major underdog. And st that rally we observed him calling NFL players sitting or standing during the national anthem SOB's who should be fired, even thought there were only 6 players protesting. And we saw how that caused the nation to focus on that issue.

We can also observe him through his tweets. We observed about 50 tweets on the week following the NFL comments, with almost half of them focusing on the NFL anthem issue. We observed him tweeting to Steph Curry to announce that he was rescinding an invitation to the Warriors to attend a white house celebration of their championship, even though it was pretty clear they weren't accepting it anyways. We observed him tweeting a video to attack John McCain.

We only observed a few tweets about Puerto Rico, and those were basically tweets criticizing their debt and infrastructure, which was an unusual time to criticize them since it's people usually withhold criticism when dealing with a devastating event since the devastation is the priority. But it's especially odd criticism since they probably are too busy dealing with devastation to notice and care about it, especially since the devastation shutdown the technology necessary to read it anyways.

So what we observed was Trump focusing largely on sports, without any identifiable reason why this became his focus. That is usually a misplaced focus for a president in general, but given the Hurricane, that's inexcusably misplaced.

So with that long delay to get resources to them, his misplaced focus is a valid criticism until/unless we have evidence that it had no impact. And since Trump criticized Obama for both focusing on the NFL, because it was a misplaced focus, and criticized Obama all the time during these types events for misplacing his focus, then Trump's misplaced focus dwarves criticism, especially given the hypocrisy of his Obama criticisms.

Don't let this new narrative sit well with you all. In modern day time it does not take 6-7 days to send help to those brown people in Puerto Rico!

So much stupid!

Even on the mainland we are taught not to expect help in the first three days.

First, islanders cannot evacuate themselves to normal areas for instant help.

Second supplies cannot be shipped down the interstate. Trucks on interstate to ports. Supplies off trucks and on ships. Supplies off ships and back on trucks. Opps, PR ports screwed so can't unload. Many truck ain't there no more, and the roads are impassable.

Now if you believe in fairies and sprinkle the supplies with magic pixie dust...
Wait a second, I forgot your a libtard that believes in mythological things like socialism!

How much bitching would you and the DNC/MSM Political Complex do if the Airforce crushed little brown children with airdropped pallets of MREs?!

Puerto Rico is an island. It's exponentially harder to get people and supplies there.

So in other words, I have no clue, but I believe the anti-Trump biased MSM will not deliver fake news in an effort to paint Trump in the least favorable light possible!?

You and OP, two of a kind.

Suppose NK launches a missile hits Pacific 200 mi W. of Hawaii, all the NFL players kneel for Broke Back Mountain not being played as a team movie pre-game, Chernobyl has a major containment barrier leak that threatens eastern Europe and Oh, I don't know maybe Malania wears a pair of thong sandals.

What would be your Order of Appropriateness (OA) for his morning tweets and how many of each would you allow?

You don't need to answer here, just send it in to Cuomo at CNN for his morning show with Allison Comaradoo and I'll tune in.

It’s all fun and games until a few hundred thousand Puerto Ricans move to Florida and make it tougher for Republicans to win.

Yeah, if anything it is the Democrats that should be thrilled with how Trump is handling things. The Republicans should be enraged in this. If you're Team Trump, you have to call him out on his handling of this. While Puerto Rico has been destroyed, Trump has been busy taunting the NFL. This is a major frick-up by him.

Or maybe they move to the socialist welfare paradise of Cali and get lost in their electoral college votes?!

Maybe conservatives from the mainland will immigrate to PR. Vote it into statehood. They can send 2 more GOP senators to D.C., and 5 representatives. Those 7 electoral college votes could come in handy too!
