Thing is this indictment isn't even the most serious criminal investigation he's currently facing.
I was saying it on this very board, years ago, that it was a criminal issue for him. But the issue, IMO, is that he lied under penalty of perjury when he signed off on his campaign disclosures and later his OGE filing.
But I really don't see why this would be anything beyond a slap on the wrist. It's absolutely possible Cohen did most of this without Trump's specific instruction or knowledge, he didn't prep his own campaign finance disclosures because that's just unrealistic. The OGE filing is a little worse because it had clearly been explained to him that he would have to lie when he signed it (for those who remember he tried to not sign it), but I don't think the state of NY is interested in his OGE filing.
It'll be interesting to see how he handles this because the way I see it, the charges in GA are much more serious.
ETA: I personally wouldn't have convicted Clinton of perjury either if I were a senator or if he'd been criminally charged with perjury and I were in the jury because it's a fricking blowjob, this is the same sort of level I see this investigation at. Yes his campaign finance disclosures were partially fictional, yes he might even have known but why are they digging this shite up now? WJC did far worse than what he got dragged into Congress for, and I think Trump's conduct after the election was also a far more serious issue than this campaign finance stuff.

Again, this was going to happened anyway with a lone wolf. Should not stop Americans from protesting/resisting legally.
Legally.

Go read the last two years of @julie_kelly2 reporting on what’s happened to the January 6th protestors. The abuse. The suicides. The judicial activism.
That’s waiting for you at that protest you’re planning in a blue city. They’re gonna entrap you again and ruin you.
Know your enemy

I mean, how complex would you think the Georgia matter could be? Not many moving parts to that. They either think they have it, or they don’t. And they would’ve made that determination quite some time ago. I think we all know that if they had, they’d be gleefully leaking like a civ about it.
That’s yet another no-go.
That’s yet another no-go.

Defeatism, the bank was robbed on Saturday therefore the bank will always be robbed on Saturday.
Well at least the term FF, has finally made into the lexicon. The theorists knew all along.
Protests happen daily in America, stay within legal bounds.

Boy, the devil party is pulling out all the stops for this election. They know Joe is not just vulnerable but highly beatable. Trump scares them to death.
That’s all I need to know. I’m voting for Trump.

Trump truthed another ALL CAPS MESSAGE and said PROTEST PROTEST PROTEST. It is rather stupid after J6, no?
No.
There is nothing wrong with protesting.
Non-violent protests are an important facet of our society.
How can you and Roger be so detached from a core American principle?
