Or the limited nature of recess appointments speaks more towards their use for emergencies and to ensure continuity of government.

But we’re barely a week out from the election and we already have strict textualists re-writing the definition of common words

Like clockwork.

No one was rejected for about the first 40 years and that was an Andrew Jackson nominee.

That squares with the courtesy argument. But I'm glad Obama didn't think of it when Garland was up.

Choosing not to exercise a power doesn’t mean you don’t have it.

Even Thomas and Alito have to concede consent means mandatory

Mandatory consent probably made more sense prior to the 17th Amendment.

The Senate truly represented the states and the states are the daddies of the federal government.

To be fair though to the Don there’s nothing the president could do to fix a government this rotten even if he really wanted to do it. The president is really just a mascot. It just has to be allowed to shrivel up and die until we have only state governments

You're not wrong at all.

But that's the thing. It goes from reality of Donald Trump is just trying to bring this train back to operability to "He's the Greatest Civics Teacher Ever!" bullshite.

The dude likely knows jack shite about US Civics. Hasn't needed to. No big deal. But the apostles just making stuff up like this is dumb.

I’m pretty sure he knows a little bit about “civics.” Probably shite you didn’t even know existed. All due respect.

The Storm in this case of course being Matty Gaetz splooging onto the back of a high school senior at a teenie bopper swim party.

Just as Q foretold.
