They can get pretty obscure, but 88 and 14 are fairly commonly referenced. In a quick google search on my phone, I’m finding articles referencing them that are over a decade old.
And to be clear, I wasn’t trying to cast any aspersions. I was genuinely surprised that so many on this thread were saying they had never heard the terms before.

If I recall correctly, many of these codes came out of neo nazi culture in Germany, where any references like that are illegal.
