Or they are blustering and terrified. I have know many crooked, conmen that when cornered do the same thing. They accuse, threaten, bluster. It is the mo.

This is likely the case. They don't want their dirty laundry aired on the record.
They're trying to intimidate Rudy and others.
Things we know FOR A FACT about Dominion machines:
1) Easy to switch votes - large batches of votes, without property security checks.
2) Counts votes in fractional votes - no place for that in voting software.
3) Data logs are easily erased or possibly even set to not log.
That's just a non-controversial list of facts.

Dominion is like the old ACORN organization. It will dissolve (DIEBOLD) and popup as the next rebranded voting machine company. It is a fraudulent operation and you know it.

so they filed multiple high profile lawsuits rather than hope it goes away on its own as people lose interest?
makes sense

A simpler explanation exists: because everyone knows there's nothing wrong with the Dominion machines, and it was all a lie by Trump.
He is after all, a known liar.
This is a lie and fact checked by me.

Dominion filed against Sidney Powell on the 1/08/21, then against Rudy today, 1/25/21. So seventeen days in-between, and I'm betting they think they have good cases against each.
I wouldn't be shocked if in another two weeks or so, we see a third case: Donald J. Trump.

Preemptive strike to give their pit bulls in the media something to grab on to.
Perfect scenario for leftists too...go on the attack while also playing the victim.

Navarro’s report on the irregularities they have found state by state and issue by issue. The numbers are ridiculous for anyone to state we don’t have widespread voter fraud that determined the outcome of this election.
Watching the various MSNBC, CNN, CBS, etc opinion "journOlists" yell at and get emotional trying to get people to accept the stolen election and to say there was no fraud, is surreal.

Can someone remind me again about Dominion machines NOT being connected to the internet?
Posted on 1/25/21 at 8:18 am to stout
Dominion would file this for reasons:
- they know evidence/machines have been sterilized or wiped
- they hope they scare Powell and Rudy to get the stain of fraud off their company
I don't think they risk the finding stage of a case unless they are confident of the above.
If either of these reasons are true, it will then cement in the public mind and politicians that Dominion is legit. So when they do it again, no questions will be asked.

Perhaps they think there are deep pockets there somewhere, plus revenge. Perhaps they think they can go though Rudy and get money from Trump's campaign coffers - probably in settlement.
They'll have to prove actual damages, I believe, and so far that I know, nobody has stopped using or refused to buy Dominion systems because of the negative publicity - but they'll need to show that, too.

Why would they feel the need to do this?
It appears they have enough support from the Federal Government and big tech. It certainly doesn't appear they've lost any business or support in the states where their software is used will continue to do so.
Confused as to why they would want to continue to stoke the fire. They've already won.

They have been getting beat up for not defending themselves. It really was their last play. Their hail Mary.
They might get lucky and everyone cowards away, but I honestly don't see Lindell, Powell, Rudy, Oltmann and others doing that. The other hope is for crooked, leftist judges.

Report spreads debunked claims about Dominion machines in Michigan county
quote:
CLAIM: A report released this week in Michigan shows Dominion Voting Systems machines in Antrim County, Michigan, were “intentionally designed with inherent errors to create systemic fraud and influence election results.”
AP’S ASSESSMENT: False. This report rests on falsehoods about a human error in Antrim County and about Dominion machines, according to state and local officials. The initial vote reporting error in Antrim County was isolated and has been identified and explained by election officials. It was caused by a clerk’s failure to update media drives for certain tabulators to reflect the correct ballot content. It was not a machine problem.

When did their word become the final say?

Debunked.
Nope. And the AP is lying. The machines were DEMONSTRABLY built with the capability to switch large batches of votes easily. Presumably as part of the adjudication process.
The machine systems have a DEMONSTRABLE lack of security controls allowing ONE person with access to do this instead of routing such changes through several levels of approval, which is built into MOST CRM and Accounting software products routinely.
Dominion software sucks, and it's been demonstrated ON VIDEO.
