For reference though, Vance was arguably the focal point for perhaps the most defining moment of the presidency thus far, in his Oval rebuke of Zelensky.
Some would say that's theatrics (agree) and some might even say it was orchestrated by Trump with Trump feeding Vance what to say (disagree) - but either way, he's front and center more than any VP in recent memory.
