This is a thread about the deep rabbit hole that is USAID and why these automated payment systems are so scary...

Billions of dollars being allocated to outside of the US to essentially NGOs that have little to no physical footprint. Cash goes in, NGO's founders and staff get their cut and then out of the country to finance whatever..

Those founders, board members, and staff get paid well and vote and support the democrats. Rinse as repeat...

The wording of the 14th amendment “subject to the jurisdiction” is not at all clear and the American Indians would testify to that. You skip right over that, pretend it’s clear and then compare it to a completely non-analogous situation because you’re a tiny bitch with a tiny brain.

It’s completely different as American Indians can easily attest.

You are grasping at straws here but regardless like I said that’s at least going through the proper channels. If SCOTUS disagrees with me that’s business.

What Musk is doing is totally different.

Musk and Doge are camped out at OMB and Treasury and are injecting themselves into what has been non partisan sort of boring payment systems where it’s just the people who put the button based on what the appropriations bill says.
Sort of a nonanswer. Let's try again.

Are you intimating DOGE or Musk have a direct hand in policy implementation?

You apparently have no concept of what his position is.

He can't control any budget other than his own and that's completely transparent. He's not in charge of anything but DOGE. He's just finding the problems and letting us know. The President will deal with it or not depending upon what he wants to do.

That's what's actually going on here.

Cope and Seethe.

not to mention they can now simply turn off the payments for things appropriated by Congress if they choose

This is where your problem is.

That's completely factually incorrect. He has no power to do anything but make recommendations to the President.
