Does the left (and its coordinated media) REALLY think the "Q gotcha" will resonate?

it seems to be the big push today, but i just don't see what the point is. how would something as esoteric as "QAnon" really capture the hearts and minds with the alleged, mythical "undecided voter"?

if you know what Q is, you almost assuredly have a STRONG opinion about it. if they think they're going to present an issue for the "undecided voter" to mock Trump and his supporters, it raises the question of why they focused on other political issues in the first place and ignored this niche area. also, it's like 2.5 weeks until the election. is that REALLY enough time for somebody to get up to speed on Q?

its certainly not something a candidate up +14 nationally and winning in every swing state would worry about, that's for damn sure

I think Trump handled it well last night. Focused on the anti-pedo slant to QAnon. Hard to find many who disagree with that.

Not without some acts of violence to tie it to. I’d say 95% of this country has no clue what Q is.

That’s not the intent. The intent is to try to get Trump to disavow them and drive a wedge in a solid part of his base

It makes no sense. It's also why Trump, even after saying he doesn't know much about them (which I think is a lie but who cares) said he does know they are against pedophilia and that's a good thing. I just can't fathom the media, and Never Trumpers like Romney, thinking this is a big thing.

It is pretty sad that this is a solid part of his base. It is also sad that if you call out people who believe Hollywood and the democratic party are full of satanic pedophile cannibals who eat babies and drink their blood you are immediately called a liberal.

It's just deflection so that they don't have to discuss BidenCorruptionGate and Hunter's emails.

Exactly. It was dumb question. It will not resonate because probably 95% of this country either never heard of it or have no clue what it is.

His answer was perfect... I know they’re against pedophilia and I am too.

Probably, but I doubt he knows everything that is discussed and all the wild tangents that happen. You don't want to attach yourself to something you don't fully know.

I spent a week figuring out what it was all about. It was impossible without the documentary I watched. I can't even remember the name. It wasn't the Out of Shadows one. It was 3 hours long with several parts. It was actually done pretty well with some foreign sounding chick narrating it.

ETA: It was called Fall of the Cabal

A much larger portion of people on your side think every white person, including themselves if white, is a racist and that Trump is worse than Hitler. You also have a large portion of your party who support ANTIFA and burning down cities and shooting Trump supporters simply for supporting Trump. I'd rather have a harmless group of people who think Democrats are satanist pedophiles (of which I guarantee you some exist) than people actually engaged in violence and rioting. To each his own though.

laughable

how do you define "solid part?" how many people do you actually think actually 1) know what Q-Anon is and 2) firmly believe it

this guilt by association issue the left drove in 2016 that ended up being a losing message, and they are doing it again. Trump can't choose who his supporters are. And just because certain people support Trump, doesn't mean that other Trump voters are guilty by association.

Q-Anon truthers probably total in the tens of thousands, max

I'm on here daily and I don't have a single solitary frick of an idea what it even is, other than I've seen the long arse thread about it.

I KNOW what it is and I'm wholly equivocal about it.

I would have to believe the actual number of citizens that have a strong opinion against it would be quiet miniscule.
