On the surface, it doesn't seem accurate that half of all families in this country are in such a low economic position where they qualify for it, but I guess it's the case.

The people who can't afford kids are the ones having kids.

One thought. Lower income families have more kids in many cases than higher income families. Therefore, not half of families are in that economic position but half of children are.

Yet we wonder why the labor participation rate is so low.

The more shocking thing is how much money you have to make to NOT qualify for it.

I'm not very familiar with Medicaid. Do people pay anything at all into it (based on income or something) or is it cost free to them?

Medicaid programs and how much people have to pay vary from state to state.

Half of all children born in the US begin life on WIC, the welfare program for women, infants and children and stay on it for their first five years. What does that say about our society? Children begin life on welfare. I'm sure a lot of them stay on welfare of some kind all of their lives.

The other day I got stuck in line behind a girl paying with wic, she bought some bullshite expensive organic fruit with it. Then she made the cashier run another transaction so she could buy booze and makeup. Then she finished out by buying cokes and junk food with her ebt. The machine spat out change for her ebt and the cashier called over the manager because welfare slime aren't supposed to get change

The bitch smiled and said "I have all these groceries and I have to carry a 10 month old too!" I guess she let the kid wait in the escalade

Plus the bitch had braces, which I probably paid for. She was white before you accuse me of being racist

These women that can't keep their legs closed and pop out bastards should be sent to some kind of shelter where they can learn to be decent human beings

No. You pay into Medicare. Medicaid is welfare.

Some of you people shop in the crappiest of neighborhoods.

Not that I believe your story or your summation.

In Louisiana, some get a spending allowance of up to 300 a month that can be drawn from the Louisiana Purchase card.

We just need to make sterilization a prerequisite for welfare. If that's too harsh for some snowflakes, then you can just lose your welfare benefits when you have a kid when you are already on it. Hard working people shouldn't be forced to pay for the scum of society to make poor decisions.
