What does a political fishing expedition have to do with "the law"?
How many chances do the democrats get to absolutely thoroughly embarrass themselves before someone says they must stop?

I don't think it's too crazy to want to see his tax documentation. He's a public official now. What does he have to hide.

Not especially. Would take a looksie, though.

IMO, given the history of and unprecedented level of opposition/obstruction of Trump by his opponents, he would be crazy to not fight those same people tooth and nail in their superficial efforts to simply fish for more of that same ammo against him.
If those people were to put forth some very specific allegation, the key to which can be found in these sort of tax documents, then I'm certainly open to revising my personal position on the matter.

I really don't care...as long he's been in public life, I'd also bet that the Obama IRS has already looked at them...

I honestly hope trump didn’t pay any taxes, playing by the rules of course.

If you to want to see a politician's tax return pass a law that everyone running for office has to release 3(5,10,15) years of their tax returns. Otherwise forget it unless there is a specific criminal charge which should only release returns to proper authorities.

For sure. Hell that's the name of the game for most taxpaying Americans. I certainly don't know anyone who doesn't either wish they could find a way around paying their given amount of taxes or is actually relatively successful in that endeavor. Plus, if I recall correctly, Trump even said once or twice in the past something to the effect of "as it pertains to working the tax system....stop it by fixing it, by all means."

TRUMP is extremely proud of his success and wealth so it's likely the only "incriminating" thing the tax returns show is that he is not nearly as wealthy as he has been portrayed. Who cares!? The guy is still rich.

The dems are king of smear. They don't care about taxes but some payoff to a prostitute or someone who looks like one to hang over Trump's head. You know something similar to Bill's frequent visit to the little girl island, the pervert in Hollywood who gave parts for their parts.
