Yes.
Democracy is a failed experiment, and America shows it.
No country will become more libertarian or freedom-based through democracy. It evolves into mob rule, taking from those who have and giving to those who don’t.
You can’t vote yourself out of socialism.
America is too big for 1 man though. There needs to be Balkanization. Maybe even every state or at least, region needs their own.

The hostility that Massie gets for voting how he sees fit got me thinking....

Would you prefer to abolish Congress and the Courts and have the President write the laws, interpret the laws, and execute the laws? Do you want a king?

Why would you ask such a thing? Just an attempt to draw the type of replies that you know will come???? But, why??

I was just asking the question. Separation of Powers is as far as you can get from being a leftist position.

Idk man, I made a poast on the ol OT board that was pretty solid, about how southern Louisiana should install a French Monarch, and it got 5 upvotes and 0 downvotes.

But then again, maybe they thought I was joking.

But using the term "king" at the same time the left is organizing nationwide "No Kings" protest is suspicious.

It's frustrating when Massie or Paul or some Republican doesn't support President Trump’s legislative agenda...BUT that's the prerogative of a Representative or a Senator in representing the people who elected him.

This ^.

Everybody bitches moans on this site but there's not a damn thing any of you can do about it. There are remedies however, in the Constitution to make major changes but no one here wants to take any action. Until then, bitch all you like but you will have to deal with it.

Our government, in its current capacity, has about outlived its benefit to society.

It isn't that I want a King.

I'd rather split into autonomous regions with a loose federation. Maybe something akin to, say, Articles of Confederation.

The anti-federalists (propaganda in this country is as old as the nation itself) WERE RIGHT ABOUT ABSOfrickINGLUTELY EVERYTHING.

One thing, good and bad, about a King that can't be denied- is that the direction of the public wellbeing is attributable to one person rather than 549 people that most of the populace will never meet or be able to successfully petition.

A good king could be great for a people, a bad king absolutely detrimental... I'd rather not roll those dice.

Massie/Rand >>>>>> Trump

I hate the left as much as anyone, but stick to policies and principles. It’s called integrity… respect it if nothing else.

We should implement the articles of confederation and then pursue a royal family to enforce it.

The problem is, America was in a sense a free mason revolution, so the people who say that it is ridiculous are not completely wrong. But how long do we have to stick with a dying form of society?

A bad king gets his head chopped off.
It’s a lot easier fix than trying to reform democracy.

Read the 'anti-federalist' papers... those two thoughts do not belong in the same sentence. The AFs were aghast at centeralized powers and rather reliably forsaw the devolution of such a centeralized system.

I’m just tired of the illusion of the system we have. On paper, it’s the greatest political system ever comprised. But what new have today is a cabal. I’m not interested in having any type of ruler. But I especially am not interested in having to act like we don’t have criminal retards in Congress that run cover for what is essentially the mafia on steroids. It’s all just a show and all of it is fricking gross.

Maybe I’m overly influenced by the hostility towards Massie. "How DARE he vote that way!" If you have an independent legislature, you won't always get your way. I was just thinking about what the alternatives are. Same thing with the courts.

I think many people on here would prefer that Trump be able to rule just through Executive Order. You don't?

Pull an Andrew Jackson and ignore the Courts.

Trump has his picture and his bust in his office for a reason.
