The trajectory of a ricochet just doesn’t make sense.

The bullet looks to enter into the upper chest, near where the neck meets. Bullet ricochets off of bone is very common. It definitely entered the front and exited and hit the carotid artery. The way he seized up and his arm movement makes me suspect it knocked his spine.

No, he was aiming for the head and didn't account for bullet drop. This was not a hitman. Complete nonsense.

He hit exactly where he aimed. Professionals aim at the neck and it allows them to miss high or low and make the shot.

They will Never catch this guy. This was carried out by global

A trained sniper would aim at the "sniper's T" or "lethal T"

watched the video a few times. Looks like CK was wearing some type bullet proof vest and bullet ricochets off upper chest and through his neck.

Bullet entered upper back right of his head and exited his lower left neck. Shooter was in an elevated position. And within a couple hundred yards
no way to know all this now. Bullets fragment and go all over the damn place. Prob shot w some go fast, unstable bullet. I’ve hit deer that have had half exit the ribs and the other half be back in a rear ham

He hit him dead in the middle of the chest and the bullet ricochet off his vest into his neck.

So no, he did not miss

So vest plates cause ricochet?

Dude, doesn't that defeat the porpose?

No, they absorb the impact, like they are designed to do.

I don’t know where they were aiming, but I imagine it was center mass.

No way that was a shot to the chest that ricocheted. There is no damage to the front of his shirt. I think the movement of the shirt is just blow by from the bullet exiting his neck. If you frame by frame that video, you can see him tense up a split second before the shirt starts moving.

Who cares. The unprovked shooting of another person anywhere is horrible.

Yeah, it is just a bunch of people here, who have never worn plate, talking out of their arse. I watched many of his vids. I watched today's vid. He did not have a vest on.

Also love how people say professionals always aim for the neck. They never aim for the neck. The "T" for a target like this would be between the eyes going down to the mouth.

Edit to say, Charlie may, at most, had on kevlar which would not defeat a rifle round at all.

I have a hard time seeing how a ricochet hit that artery then hit his spine to cause him to lock up immediately. The trajectory of a ricochet just doesn’t make sense

Yeah, in addition to the massive blood loss, he likely had a severe spinal cord injury. It feels like it would make more sense if it was a shot through the muscle belly of the sternocleidomastoid through the carotid sheath then through the cervical vertebrae.

Anyone who has gotten a deer or elk in the neck knows how effective it is.

So your opinion is this was a novice who got lucky?

I'm truly asking. Not being a dick.

With all the talk of this being a pro, it matters where he was aiming.

I do not believe a pro would have pulled his shot like that. The shooter was most likely aiming for a head shoot and pulled the shot. Wrong breathing, wrong trigger pull, several reasons could cause it.

It looked like he hit the target. He looked like he was dead immediately. It was a highly trained assassin. Probably procured from another country.
