it's easy to talk about shite when you are just a candidate, but then when you get elected it becomes real. He has to deal with reality which is different from tea party BS

I don't understand why it's so hard for people to get it that the GOP is not a group of drones as the Democrats are.

You've got House members from purple states, who have to count on "moderate" voters' to stay in office.

And not trying to start a fight about Trump, whom I'm enjoying watching sticking it to the Left in Houston right now, but Trump needs to get better coordinated with the House and Senate, and stop stepping on his own message.

He's a spineless, empty suit that fooled some people into believing he was some kind of libertarianish politician...I would guess the reasons we ultimately dislike him, however, are different.

I don't particularly like McCain, and wouldn't be sorry to see him go, provided he's replaced by a strong Republican.

I've been away from the board and most politics, dealing with personal issues.
What is it that you are not happy with, with Ryan and McConnell?
Take all the time you need.

Boehner was stymied by tea party.
Ryan promoted.
Arranged deal on debt and fed spending. I was surprised at deal.
