My 89 year old dad and 85 year old mom certainly do. They are both dilligent about mask wearing, and avoiding close comntact, and I understand why they do.
I, on the other hand, have not worn a mask in over a year.
That said, I do think that some folks should take covid seriously. Sorry if this offends you.

At some point, going out of your way to crow about how other people wear masks and you don't is just virtue-signaling, especially when you're doing it in mostly friendly company. If it bothers you a lot that some people wear masks when they're in groups in public, then that begins to smell like authoritarianism. Get a new hobby. Grab a gun, go to the range. Learn to fish. Do something other than make people think that if you got your way you'd ban masks.

Yes, I’ve had a close family member die. And my grandson will have life long complications due to Covid pneumonia.

They harassed me for over a year and i still cant go to a fricking play or to the trendiest bars / restaurants without showing fake papers

Sure. There are a couple of Asian ladies in my condo who are always wearing a facemask when they get in the elevator.
At work related conferences, my vitamin D deficient peers are also masked up - even when we get together for drinks after the meetings.

Just had it. Dealt with 2 nights of fever, aches and sore throat. Dealt with it through zinc, vitamins c and d, and Tylenol. This virus jumped on the wrong person.
