I'm not following. How does a huge government show that libertarianism won't work?
I agree w/ you that we can't just change the electorate to want to understand history, economics, and the NAP. I also agree w/ you that the federal government is irredeemable. I've been a big supporter of secession for a while now.
Government has intentionally dumbed down society. Also, just the math is terrible. Do you really think one "representative" can "represent" 700k people? And the numbers only get worse for senators and the president.
Just use the Left's own "reasoning" to help them see things a little clearer. For instance, I'll say things like "yep, Californians should be able to keep all that money in their state and use it how they see fit instead of paying welfare for 'red states'". Or, I'll tell them that their support of legalizing weed is tacit support of state nullification.
This won't be an easy or quick thing, but it is working. The support for secession among both parties is higher than it's been in ages. I'm talking over 30%, which is a huge number. Just keep the messaging going, that's all.

Yes I’m sure the vision was to use powers to suppress freedom of speech.
You really are on to something.

We were given Federalism. Do you really believe e Federalism still exists in the way it was intended.
Our current system was specifically designed to make the States less powerful after the Articles of Confederation.
So how is it not working “as intended”?

I believe it was Sula that cleaned house and then returned power after ridding the ilk. We would need something similar but the best bet is a peaceful bulkanization.

100% true. What a fricking mistake that was.

Article 1 sec 8, for instance, lists specifically what congress can spend on. If it were a catch all, then why waste time listing 18 specific things?
Another example is the federal government regulating intrastate commerce. No fricking way the Founders thought that the federal government should regulate people growing food on their own property for their own consumption.

Nobody is overthrowing the Govt of the United States of America, unless you have the military capability to defeat the Armed Forces of the United States of America.
No matter what kind of civilian government the American Radical Left manage to impose on the people of this continent, the Armed Forces of the USA will defend the USA against all enemies, foreign and domestic.
No matter how totalitarian or oppressive the US govt becomes, IMHO, the Armed Forces of the USA will defend the USA against all enemies, foreign and domestic.

The covid lockdowns should have opened every right wingers' eyes in America that government employees will do what they're told.

What we need is a catholic constitutional monarchy with a House of Representatives.

A really cool warrior King would be nice. Especially if we got rid of guns and vehicles and went 14th century

But we don't have the electorate capable of maintaining the form of government gifted to us by the founders.
Exactly. A nation of philosophers we are not. The left has no qualms about saying "this society sucks, let's turn it into ______." That is where conservatives need to be. Articulate what you want to do and sell it instead of pleading with them to slow down.

If it gets to the point of Brazil, with all the guns, lord help us all. I think that’s the push for guns, they know it’s coming to a crisis point if they keep openly stealing elections, and cutting our main energy supply, eventually people will be starving in the streets and fending for themselves; while loaded to the teeth….. this isn’t the place for that, so I don’t know if they are pulling these strings to destroy us from within, or just hoping everyone capitulates, but scary times ahead….
They are playing with fire. Fortunately people will come for them. ex military.

The parents that were "educated" in government run schools?
I'm 45. In my school years, like everyone else my age, I was taught "what" to "think", not "how" to think.
