Campaign finance
Anti-trust laws
Pro-environment
Pro-LGBTQ

My issues with dems are their interventionist foreign policy, wasteful spending habits, and they are generally anti-NASA/space exploration

Legalizing weed and I don't care who marries who, the government shouldn't be involved, no matter how disgusting they are.

As a former Democrat, there are probably a lot of areas where I would agree with some of their issues.

The problem is, I don't trust today's Democrat party with implementing those ideas without using them to advance their anti-Constitution agenda in the process.

This is a great question for both sides of the political aisle.
I can go with a couple ideas from the left and am open to nuanced debate about others.

My liberal friends when asked the same question 100% have blank states or make a yucky face when the words Republican or conservative come up.They can't come up with any.

After each of these thought experiment exchanges I claim that I am actually the more diverse and open minded person and that they have gotten drunk on the blue look aid.

Gay marriage legalization
Legalizing weed
Reduced sentencing for non violent drug offenses

That’s about it.

I ask again, is this really “their issue?” If it is, why haven’t they done it when in power? Kinda strikes me as more of a Libertarian tenet than a Repub/Dem tenet.

Hell No!!! The goal of CFR is to turn over the job of campaign information to the media. NBC will tell the voters all they need to know.

You are correct that Dems haven’t done as much as they could to legalize weed but it’s still an issue that has been pushed by Democrats/liberals at the state and local level. GOP hurt itself by opposing weed for so long.
