Wait, you're serious??

That actually checks out.

My "discoveries" about homosexuality took place starting around 9. I had a 10.5 year old friend that wanted to "experiment".

For most guys it's simply genetics reinforced by watching their biological father.

If your genetics are off and/or you were around a single mother (or lack of a dominant father), then straight behavior wouldn't have been automatically obvious to you. You would have to learn yourself in that situation.

All that being fine and dandy, my point was as a heterosexual, you never had to learn to like women. You never had to "practice" your attraction to a female. You became aware of that attraction around puberty. That's not a learned behavior. It's hardwired into who you are. How you carry your heterosexuality, like other habits, are learned behaviors and that's different.

Hope you hold true to your values and know that not all conservative white males are anti-gay.

Unfortunately, many of the couple I mentioned earlier are now voting straight Democrat because of their fatigue with the anti-gay diatribe spewed by a small minority of the right. I still appeal to them to make their decisions based on "bigger issues" and to let the social BS slide as best they can. It's frustrating as hell and I understand their combativeness. The silent majority don't really give a shite. Your business is your business.

No, but Democrats/communists lie all day every day. That's how they came to have any sort of power ever

Correct. Sexual attraction is a predisposed, genetic behavior. And, in a very small percentage of organisms, the predisposition is for the same sex.

Humans throw a wrench into everything because of our complex emotions that attach themselves to our natural inclinations.

No. It isn't.

Yes it is. As a logical human being I can assure you of that. I agree they are mostly born that way with the exception of a small minority of folks who just had horrible upbringing and are all fricked up in the head.

Humans are genetically predisposed to procreate. It’s supposed to be natural. For an individual to not feel an innate attraction to opposite sex is by definition a mental disorder.

It doesn’t make them bad, and I fully support them. But let’s not lie to ourselves and call it normal.

So when Mohammad is doing a farm animal, it’s pre disposition and emotions? Interesting

Yes, they are. They may not express their sexuality until puberty, but they are born that way.
Research has not shown this clearly. How does the gay gene know to express itself when one crosses through prison gates?

So anyone that masturbates is mentally ill? No procreation comes from jerking off.

It’s probably severe trauma as well. We are predisposed to all kind of characteristics and different environmental triggers will affect the level to which those characteristics are realized. That’s just biology.

Arguing that someone learned to be homosexual/heterosexual is like arguing that some learned to be tall or short.

I never held that position. I've never had issues with straight males. Most don't really care in my experience, but I'm also not your stereotypical gay. A lot of my straight guy friends call me the perfect wingman, because they know chicks will flock to me out and they also know I'll never try and steal their girl.

And yet every animal species on Earth has a small subset that displays homosexual tendencies.

Are you suggesting that certain badgers are gay because they learned that behavior from their touchy badger Uncle John?

If you hold this to be true, then you are ignorant of what a true mental disorder is and how it's qualified by mental health professionals.

I wouldn’t confuse sexual attraction with sexual desperation and/or power hierarchies.

It's not gay behavior. That is anthropomorphizing non humans.

And yet you did with the animal example. How does a straight man get an erection for another man while in prison when it never occurred before?

I got sidetracked and didn't finished my thought. I've found it to be very, VERY true that your biggest homophobes are closeted gays. Self haters that project their internal conflict onto others.

If someone in this thread thinks I'm directing this towards them...I am. You're gay. Embrace it.
