No doubt they do. I see Trump as Desantis' "political father." Guiding him properly to set up for a good presidency. Why it's important for Trump to get in in 24, to clear out all he can for his "political son" to have gteat sucess.
Desantis is doing great on getting things done in FL, but right now no way in hell he will be be able to anywhere near what he has in FL in DC. DC needs a clean up, and important Desantis is wasting his first term doing that and then trying to get relected.
No reelection cares Trump in 24, and then 8yrs of Desantis is the ideal scenario.

I doubt it - it’s obvious that DeSantis wouldn’t have gotten elected w/o Trump or FoxNews but soon into DeSantis admin, he (more his wife and COS) removed Susan Wiles ( google her and see her bio) from RPOF and that pissed off Trump.
Then Trump basically put Susan back in place about a year later and that pissed of Ron.
I think even before Trump lost re-election,these two started distancing themselves from each other …so i don’t think DeSantis and Trump speak regularly
