Me, too.
One bad day in the stock market, and the soyboys can't handle it. Weak sauce.
Obtw, I got hit, too. But I see the bigger picture.

That has worked so well the last 50 years.

Well, one concern I have is the goal posts keep moving on whatever the plan is here. One day, it's to bring back manufacturing, the next is to get other countries to reduce their tariffs. I think there have been a few others.
Try to keep up.

My position is that our path was totally unsustainable. At least this effort is trying to correct it.
The markets have been nothing but a reflection of inflation/gov spending. It was all fake.

It seems confusing because the Trump admin is dealing with different countries with different political and economic dispositions and interests.

The general public won't understand the trade war,
Trump doesn't want a trade war and didn't start one.
The trade war was started a long time ago by other countries.
Trump decided to fight instead of surrender.
And as for Wall Street, they are acting like a bunch of panicked children. Most of the volatility that we're seeing is the result of their own doing with the spewing of their chicken little narratives.

You should probably shut off your computer and take a walk....or a laxative.

It’s really not.
Step 1: implement a blanket tariff.
Step 2: stir outrage that incentivizes countries to the trade negotiation table.
Step 3: renegotiate trade.

Trumps popularity and agenda are 100% tied to the stock market rise or fall
not sure why he starts off his term with tariffs instead of exposing corruption
, seems to have gone silent on that front.

Depends on the mood of the day.
I've been given 5 different reasons for his tariffs.
