So, we're just going to ignore that the border has been closed to South American cattle for months now? Does Donald know what screw worm is? Tariffs or no tariffs we aren't getting beef from south of the border, and haven't for a while.

This, exactly. Same reason we’re involved with the Ukraine conflict too. We want to be in position in these countries to make them dependent and stay dependent on the US dollar since they are very resource rich areas.

You dont have to. All you need to know is supply and demand. If you had ever attended class beyond 9th grade you would know.
When demand outpaces supply, you either get mega high prices or you import products that are cheaper because it takes way too long to resupply the herd.
