I just want one MAGA cultist to tell me how Farmers can just unilaterally lower their prices like Donny is asking them to.
The worst part of this... Trump sounds just like Bernie or Elizabeth Warren when he wines like this. How long before Bessent and Lutnik start calling for state-pwned cattle production and price controls for beef?

30+ years of global warming propaganda and the government being controlled by Democrat Socialists for 12/16 years with the massive farming regulations that have been intentional and malicious is THE reason for beef prices in 2025
Seemingly the solution would be repealing the regs, not subsidizing imported beef from Argentina.

The Cattle Ranchers are just too stupid to understand that Trump is helping them.
Want to see how far to the Left Trump has dragged the GOP?

Exactly. Demanding Ranchers lower prices unilaterally is low IQ. Trump just made enemies of Ranchers

He's slowly pushing everyone away while he sits in his ivory tower commanding the economy.

Bernie would be proud of Trumps desire for a command economy.

Ranchers: "Importing beef and increasing out competition is not the answer. Lowering the price of hay, fuel, and other input costs is the answer. Decreasing regulation would help too."

Hay Farmers: "Lowering the cost of hay is not the answer. Lowering the price of fuel, fertilizer, and other input costs is the answer. Yes and decreasing regulations would help too."

Fuel and other supply companies: "Lowering the cost of input is not the answer. Decreasing the costs of regulations is the answer."

Politicians: "Decreasing the cost and burden of regulation is not the answer."

Farmers, Ranchers, industry etc: "Well we have to do something."

Politicians: "We will print more checks."

Farmers and ranchers: "Works for us."

Industry: " Works for us."

$100,000 3/4 ton truck dealers: "Excellent idea."

Politicians: "Glad we found a solution that makes everyone happy. Please remember that come reelection time."

Taxpayers and consumers when prices do not come down and taxes increase: "Whiskey Tango Foxtrot!"

True but overregulation by state and federal governments does increase the cost of irrigation which increase feed costs.

Dollarization may be good in the long term, provided the peso stays stable for the short to mid term.

Still, the Argentines are famous for fukking up these things. I'd still hedge my bets down there and see what kind of deal we could get from the Brazilians who are much more reliable from a business end. Milei is in a precarious position because his party is a minority party so he has a coalition type of thing going on. He could keep his seats and still lose the mid terms if his allied parties lose out. Third in terms of #s in the Chamber of Deputies and Senate and NO governors on the state level.....he has a tightrope to walk

Their actions caused herd decreases in other parts of the country that have less frequent droughts and could’ve made up shortfalls

This isn’t a 10-15 year issue

It’s 30-40 years of bad farm/trade policy

Which is kind of hilarious by itself. All I am giving you is standard conservative answers

They are unfamiliar to you, and seem "pompous" because youve never heard conservative principles before and youre not a conservative.
