Yeah. I'm sure the current price tag of a passport of $130 would not be an issue. I have major issue with people whining about getting a drivers license but an extra $130 bill for all adults in a family is a bit much when you campaigned on helping the middle class

You really want to measure dicks on this?

I’ve been to about 60 countries and have lived overseas for several years. I just landed from Switzerland Sunday night. Most of my career has been in international roles and I am just shy of my “2 million miler” award on United.

Traveling is not the same thing as living overseas. How you manage your passport when traveling is completely different than an average person living in that country.

I promise you that the friends I still have in these countries are not walking around town carrying their passports on a daily basis.

Well, I don’t know that I’ve ever claimed that, or even fit it. I can’t say I fit into much of any box.

Regardless, what does that have to do with not having much history with guns? As I said, it’s more of a family history thing and a perceived lack of need than anything ideological.

Probably someone else with an Aggie avatar. My mistake.

Because people concerned about personal rights should be concerned about all of them. I don't have a podcast but I don't have to be a podcaster to be concerned about the government censoring podcasters.

Well, if I’m just traveling to the next state (2 miles away), that’s what I do.

Fair point. Gun laws are not something that has much mattered to me, so I just don’t riff on them much.

When I do, I see them as much more detailed and cumbersome than they ought to be for something enshrined in the Bill of Rights, but I guess I just keep my powder dry for things where I either have more first hand knowledge or a sense that I can affect them.

Calm down, Paul Revere. They have not mattered to me in the sense that I never needed to avail myself of them firsthand.

I swear, some people see arguments wherever they look.

It would be a constitutional violation for a state to not recognize another state’s driver’s license, vehicle registration, marriage license, etc.

Interesting. So the 12 states that refuse to accept my CCL are breaking the law. Why does LA need to accept an illegal's DL from California when they won't accept a citizen's state-issued document for CC?

Unless it involves the 2A. Once again, conservatives insist on shooting themselves in the foot by adhering to rules the democrats don't.

If a state doesn't accept our CCLs, then we have no obligation to accept their illegal driver licenses, queer marriage licenses, and birth certificates that show anything other than male or female.

Your license doesn’t allow for travel outside of your 15-minutes city.

You have to go back.
