Was she little? Did she get buried in a shoe box?

That’s the thing. They are trying to take beauty out of the equation.
That way more ugly shite bag progs get roles.
Not saying this actress is ugly by any means.

I’ve long said that if you could bring Walt back from the grave, he’d be leading the army with torches and pitchforks to burn Anaheim and Orlando to the ground. Then he’d piss on the ashes.

i for one really don't care and probably wouldn't go see the movie no matter what the characters look like. but i do wonder why anytime a white person plays a minority, it's "whitewashing". but you never seem to hear it go the other way around. i mean it wasn't that long ago that people were up in arms because white voice actors were voices minority cartoon characters. didn't the guy that did Apu from the Simpsons quit?

If it’s truly woke, they should seriously consider canceling the film before it tarnishes the brand even more.

So much for Trian using their leverage to get it turned around. Looks like Iger and the board of directories sold them a line of crap to get them to back off and they fell for it.

How low can the stock go?

They changed from dwarfs to whatever the frick magical creatures because Peter Dinklage complained about the portrayal. What would’ve been 6 more high profile roles for other actors with dwarfism ended up going to normal sized people because Dinklage complained. But he already got his bag and is set for life after Game of Thrones. Funny how he didn’t complain about being cast as the imp in that show.
Maybe he just didn’t want a big budget seven dwarfs movie potentially creating other stars with dwarfism that he’s have to compete for future roles against.

What should scare everyone is the fact that Disney would rather betray their audience then to anger Blackrock and Vanguard. It shows how much they are investing in ESG initiatives.

I saw where Abigail Disney was arrested at some stupid New York climate protest. Walt is spinning in his grave.

She’s always been an outspoken far left activist. Nothing new there. But she doesn’t have anything to do with operation of the company, besides producing a couple documentaries as far as I know

Well.. they keep this up… at least they won’t have to listen to the Dems go on about “paying their fair share”

I hate how much I like Coal Black.
But yeah, the music is great. It has a 1940s Harlem big band feel.

Bob Iger hinting at selling off ABC and then Disney to Apple
Indiana Jones a disaster for Disney
quote:
During an interview with David Faber on CNBC’s “Squawk Box,” Iger agreed with Faber that ABC “may not be core” to The Walt Disney Company. He said they have to be “open-minded” to potentially selling their TV assets, a comment that basically put them on the market.
quote:
It’s also been rumored that Iger could sell the entire Walt Disney Company to Apple and he is trying to offload their streaming services in India.
Indiana Jones a disaster for Disney
quote:
Dial Of Destiny is not expected to even cross the $400 million mark in global box office receipts—half of what the fourth installment made 15 years ago when a dollar went a lot further than today.
This seems a safe bet given the stiff competition it now faces in the form of spy thriller Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning, Greta Gerwig’s Barbie and Christopher Nolan’s biopic Oppenheimer. In reality, the Indy sequel needed to haul in around $800 million just to break even.Ouch! That's gotta hurt.
quote:Couldn't happen to more woke person. Kathleen Kennedy has ruined Pixar, the Marvel franchise and Disney films and animation in general. He should fire her after they lose $400 million on this new Indiana Jones movie.
Should the grim predictions prove true, the Lucasfilm production could potentially rival John Carter as the Mouse House’s worst-ever live-action commercial bomb and call into question the future of studio boss Kathleen Kennedy, a former Fortune Most Powerful Woman.
Iger has made it clear financial responsibility now goes hand in hand with creative decision-makers.
But it may have consequences for Disney, as well. The share price has been trading near nine-year lows
