Is there or will there be any official estimates or hard numbers to see how much they lost? I think AT&T/Directv may gain some subscribers due to this.

DirectTV has said they will not provide that data.

So I'm sure it will leak in 6 months.

People that paid for the NFL Sunday Ticket are the same people that buy cars at sticker price.

LOL at the people thinking this is a big deal. NFL Sunday Ticket is a loss leader. You usually get a year free if you sign up for multiple years of a regular package. DirecTV must believe that the number of people who actually pay for it, and who will cancel it, are very small.

I would not be surprised if half of them post in this board =)

This one amuses me because it saves me money by happenstance. I had free Sunday Ticket that expired this year but forgot and when they charged me I thought the extra was for movies I had rented. When I realized and tried to cancel they wouldn't let me cancel so I was just stuck with it

Then the NFL got stupid and now I get my money back
