Trump declared a national emergency on March 13, so he was on the ball, correct?

For a big state with a ton of international flights, California did really well during this crisis. And San Francisco did not have its first case of the coronavirus until March 5th.
So what was the problem with going to Chinatown in February?
You saw no problem, Pelosi saw no problem, but Trump should have seen the problem.
You guys are absurd.

Wallace did ask some tough questions but never once challenged her in her responses.
The disdain he shows to anyone connected to President Trump (Kellyanne, Mnuchin, etc.) is so obvious in his interviews. They are more like debates than interviews.

so with this "gotcha", Trump declaring a national emergency about a week later is now a terrible policy

Flights from CHY NA were shut down long before Nance's trip to CHYNATOWN.
Are you forgetting who did that and what the reason for her public exhortation to come to CHYNATOWN was?

well now you're talking out of both sides of your mouth
if a state on our western coast, in an area that sees the most daily interaction with flights from China, had its first case on March 5, then declaring a NATIONAL emergency a week later is perfectly acceptable

did he hold rallies in San Francisco? or other west coast urban areas? why would he be worried since our FIRST case there was March 5?

why?
California is literally 2/3 of our western coast

STFU
Pelosi begging people to go to Chinatown in late February after calling out Trumps “racism” for shutting down travel from China and Europe in January, and THEN retroactively saying he didn’t act soon enough is just political hysterics, hypocritical as frick and as fricked up as it is, hilarious.
But of course you’d tote her water, because you are quite simply a dumb motherfricker.

Each city, each state, each area has different problems. One size doesn’t fit all as we’ve seen. Locals, then governors logically have to act first depending on circumstances. The president would naturally be last for a nation wide shutdown.

By Dem standards, Her calling a particular location, in her district as “China town”, is racist.
Also, who saw or heard anyone call to violence to Chinese Americans bc of a travel ban?

So was Pelosi, but she was too busy with her kangaroo court to worry about anything except hurting the Chinese. Pelosi would say and do anything to undermine Trump so she could profit politically. You know it.

The antibody studies done recently show that 50-85 times more Californians had Coronavirus than reported.
The truth is; Coronavirus hit Cali earlier than we thought- likely for the reasons you described. The ramp up in testing came after the wave and CDC data shows a huge spike in ILI activity in hospitals around New Years.
And stop trying to change the subject. Cali’s response notwithstanding, asking people to break quarantine to come and see how well Asian Americans are dealing with the virus so “we can prevent racism that never happened” is asinine. It’s beyond asinine.

yeah i mean it was around Nola for Mardi Gras, which was in late February....WAAAYYY across the country
i'm curious to see what strains of COVID are found in LA, whether it's linked more to China or Europe
if Nola had it on February 25, San Francisco had it way before March 5

Did he ask her about her fridge and gourmet ice cream?

So why do few deaths? I would have guessed LA, SF, Vegas and other large cities with a lot of Chinese visitors would have more deaths if the virus had hit the West Coast a lot sooner.
That’s one thing I don’t understand.
