Did we ever figure out how Russia “hacked” the election

I saw a movie that had a Russian actor in it. Two years later I voted for Trump. Evidently that counts.

It’s like they are scared that classified emails were on it and it was hacked by several groups like the Chinese or something.

And anyone who doesn't think the only reason it's a big deal is because Trump won is fooling themselves. This has been going on for decades. The only reason it's an issue in 2016 is because the candidate the entire political and media establishment was in the bag for lost to a reality tv star.

Basic BS Facebook ads.

Russian agents fed disinformation through a British spy to one of the candidates. That candidate then leaked the Russian disinformation to the media to sway public perception and to the FBI as an "insurance policy" in case the candidate lost.

And they were very successful with this hacking. So successful, in fact, that the people who were manipulated are actually blaming the opposition, accusing them of being Russian puppets.

It's because the reaction of the recent Russophobes in this country is so phony. I love hearing neocons and liberal internationalists wail about Russian meddling in our democracy. I'll tell you what, if meddling is so bad, let them put their money where their mouth is and come out against us meddling in elections. They'd never do it though, because we are addicted to it. We are more addicted to war, coups and all other forms of violent meddling than the Russians ever were.

You know why Putin was so anti-Hillary? Because she was SOS when the American government instigated a coup in Ukraine that put into power a regime that threatened the well-being of ethnic Russians in Crimea. Our own meddling led to Russian meddling. So do we learn from this mistake? No, we double down on it, because the anti-Trump caucus on this site wants a war with Russia.

I think it is a big deal when, google and facebook and youtube minimize or eliminate conservative voices on internet and social media. I also think they are much more pervasive and effective. Guess that is okey dokey with you. They are part of your tribe.
