Not in North Dakota Joe.
North Dakota's labor participation rate is 68.9%.
North Dakota also has the ability to recruit workers from neighboring states. (Florida place billboards in Illinois recruiting police officers, ND could do something similar)
Bringing in cheap foreign labor from India is a globalist RINO agenda item. The idea that "legal" immigration is good is comical. There's a reason Trump ran on overhauling our legal immigration system and there's a reason his supporters agreed. "Legal" immigration is bad for Americans.

Our legal immigration system should be designed to benefit Americans. It isn't.
Legal immigrants bring incompatible cultures with them and refuse to assimilate. (see the election of Ilhan Omar)
Legal immigrants rely on welfare at a much higher rate than native citizens
LINK
52% of legal immigrant households use welfare vs 39% of native citizens.
Legal immigrants help to keep wages lower since Ted Kennedy's legal immigration reform in 1965
Joe Biden’s Migrants Grab White-Collar Jobs from U.S. Grads
quote:
Hiring in professional and business services — which includes jobs in tech, consulting, finance and media that are popular among new grads — has fallen 12 percent, according to federal data … Today’s recent graduates ages 22 to 27 have a higher unemployment rate — 4.7 percent, as of March — than the overall population, according to an analysis by the New York Fed.

The inflow delivers roughly one migrant for each American birth. The inflated supply of workers ensures lower salaries, less corporate investment in productivity-raising, high-tech workplaces, higher housing costs

I thought I something on here the other day that Trump is proposing automatic green card for any legal immigrant who graduates from a 4 year university.

If there was a demand for jobs, and no applicants, then that is what immigration was for.
now if he were inviting them in to become homeless and adopting welfare programs to entice them, then that would not be good.
I am unfamiliar with the situation there, but if local unemployed people don't apply for good jobs, then something is wrong - are the federal benefits so good they can lay-about all day??
BUT - situation needs to looked into - I got zero on-the-ground info, but is can see a possible reason for the action.

Those are effects of poor immigration policy and political malpractice than it actually being an indictment on legal immigration. To use a blanket statement that legal immigration is bad is absolutely not true.

Now, with all that said, and like you actually mentioned, you should not be selling out your own citizens at the benefit of immigrants which has been happening in recent years, especially under Biden’s administration. But to act like there is no value to legal immigration and attracting high performers from other countries is absurd.
quote:
The U.S. was founded by successive waves of immigrants and that hunger, the drive to seek a better life in a new land, often makes immigrants inclined to work hard in search of new opportunities. It’s the sort of grit and dedication that leads people to better financial outcomes — statistics prove it. On at least two key measures of immigrants’ financial performance — their rates of entrepreneurship and how much debt they hold — foreign-born workers out-perform native-born Americans.
quote:
Another key measure of financial strength at which foreign-born Americans outpace the native-born: Immigrants use credit less often for purchasing cars, homes, or starting businesses. This results in significantly lower levels of indebtedness than native-born Americans. For example, a Pew Research Center study shows that 34 percent of foreign-born Hispanic Americans report no credit card or installment loan debt of any kind, as compared to just 19 percent of the general population.

Not everyone. Ben Carson is the best fit for VP.
He's very intelligent and a man of high character and integrity. He won't turn on Trump and is a good opposite of Trump.
Carson is calm and level headed.

You'll find me on that search as wanting him as VP. Talk shite all you want but get us more people with actual experience and not just riding their skin color and/or some kind of popularity contest winners.
This is new info for me and not a fan of the approach. Let's see if there is some kind of new frontrunner worth a lick with some actual skin in the game experience.

Boring AF. Brings absolutely zero experience and upside. Put him in as a cabinet member. Surgeon General or Faucis old spot, etc
