Well, McCain brought it on himself by making a big show of marching up in the Senate and giving a big thumbs down to the vote to end obamacare. That was unforgivable.

Simple
Trump talks big and delivers very little.
DeSantis has a track record of following through on his promises.
So if you actually want things to get done, vote for DeSantis.
Unfortunately he found out that most Trump followers, don't want things done. Hence the cult talk.

You're such a mindless tool.

That's a terrible example. John McCain is not a man of integrity. My family is mostly "establishment" Republicans- corporate attorneys, professional lobbyists, etc.- but even my George H. W. Bush-loving grandmother knew McCain was a snake in the grass way back in the 1980s.
Honestly, I don't even remember why I dislike him. It's just one of those things like "Rock Hudson is gay" or "steer into the skid."

McCain was an evil POS. He's currently sitting in hell with his good buddy, fat Teddy.

Wrong. His argument was that he responded heroically to the faux pandemic crisis while Trump did basically everything wrong.
I get it. Trump is funnier and taller. Just admit that's what you want. Don't pretend the guy has principles, or that he's going to win in November. Just come out with the truth: ooH a TaLL gUy wIth FunnY JOkeS
Trump is the only one with a "schtick" here. The rest of us aren't carny hucksters.

Keep melting over Ronnie. Trump will be the nominee, yet you Cuck45’s are absolutely torn over the fact that the guy ran.

Here’s the conundrum: the more you voice curiosities and thoughts like this, the more angry and frustrated they get, and the worse what you described gets. A vicious cycle.
They are angry and their pride is hurt…probably a little bit embarrassed.
Fundamentally they don’t see the enemy in the same way Trump voters do so they are very willing to vote dem.

Actually we are trying to keep Trump voters from turning into Democrats which is where you are heading. Pushing DeSantis was one of the solutions.

If Desantis had early on declared the decision to sit this one out, you and your friends would be large Haley supporters all this time. No doubt about it.

No idiot. Burgum was actually the best candidate this time around he just didn't gain traction. DeSantis was number 2.
If you must know Trump is in the same league as Haley and Christie. All moderate/Dem lites.

You and your friends would be loyal supporters of whoever the media happened to be pushing as “Trump’s strongest opponent.” “Insert name here”

I honestly thought Burgum was the most sensible in debate 1.
But nobody wanted sensible, only red meat.

Did I just read you telling DJS that Trump didn't have control over spending because it was predetermined under Obama? Did I read that correctly?

Yep. I was demonstrating the level of made-up silliness and garbage that’s spewed from our beloved board at any given moment in time, not unlike much of your own. Pretty good huh? Dead ringer.

Terrible. You are wrong as usual.

Studies say that 97.3% of the time when one side of a conversation suddenly lashes out with anger and condemnation pf the other side, the first side is frustrated about being wrong, with no apparent hope of being right in sight.
