If he runs and gets the nomination he will help to burn the GOPe down bc we’ll still vote Trump on another ticket.

What RINOs fail to grasp is that we are willing to suffer to destroy to GOP if they want that fight.

We have taken more seast in the GOP and will continue to do so!

If you think that all of this noise is because we are some small insignificant group, you have lost your mind.

Look at the Whip vote. Had they waited for the election to come to an end, America First would own that office It was lost by 9 votes. 115 to 106!

We are not going back to Romeny, Bush, McCain.... nor Globalism!

k, in all your incoherent ranting what does this have to do with 2024 at this juncture? I don't argue Turtle is a piece of shite and needs to go and happy the GOP took the house back.

This whole we're gonna burn the whole thing down if we don't get our way isn't good for the nation. Period.

Once again, I question loyalties here with statements like that.

Has everything to do with 2024. You literally think the WH is the ONLY way to govern.

Guess what? It's not. And the new America First Candidates that come in during the 2024 cycle will be massive! It will put the GOPe out.

The left will 100% use their funds to end Trump. :)

Statements like what? Not going back to Romney and Bush and McCain?

No need in questioning. I have made it CLEAR. I'm not voting for people like that. Period. They sold this nation out to globalism.

Mitch just caved on infrastructure bill that was the Green New Deal! With friends like that, I don't need enemies!

Then he should be the first with balls enough to not back down.

Standing up to trump would count for a lot since all these other pussies are cowards.

Wow, you are beyond saving at this point. You keep projecting and throwing shite at the wall to see what sticks. Then you wonder why people get turned off by this nonsense.

Because nowhere in your incoherent rants and ignorant tirades was there a single thought that merited a response.

Hold up, let me break that down barney style to you:

lol, tl:dr.

This isn’t that simple. He will have been out of the governors office in 2028 two years. Timing is everything. If I was advising him, I’d tell him to run now.

Exactly.

Perfect example is Chris Christie. Everyone was begging him to run in 2012. He wanted to wait until 2016. So, instead we got Mittens.

And when he finally ran in 2016, his window had already closed.

Agree. Two years out of politics is a long time and he would suffer. Imo his chance is now or never…

The only way you get DeSantis in 28 is if Trump loses in 24. If he wins his presidency will drag republicans through the mud and DeSantis will have no momentum, an angry electorate, and an even more emboldened media.

Waiting four years would be a complete waste.

I admire your passion and patriotism—I have no doubt you love your country—but the fact is you’re in the minority. And you’ll continue to be in the minority if the goal is to “put the GOPe out.” The revolutionary “burn it down” crusade does not register with most voters. It’s just numbers.

Not sure what you're thinking. He'd be governor until January 2027. He can take a couple of months off and declare in the late Spring of 2027 then start campaigning. It's not like he'd be out of politics for two years. Timing would be perfect.

I keep saying this over and over and it feels like half the posters here are as dumb as the commies.

I agree with this.

If he really wants to stay in the game one his term is up - he can run for senate. Or just announce 2 yrs early like the Orange Man.

Trump and Desantis are natural allies - they will kiss and make up. There’s no advantage to either of them in going to war with each other. They share a base.

All that said- I’d vote for him for POTUS if he wins the nomination for ‘24. Same for Trump.
