Count me on the Trump train. Some comments:
1. RD as VP doesn’t bring new voters to 24 election
2. If not then Ron has 2 years to run campaign after term is up. Perfect
3. One wildcard I have not seen mentioned. Depending who Trump picks as VP, they would hsve an inside track to 28 nomination by virtue of position. And likely Trump endorsement.

Seems all the more reason to get him onboard.

DeSantis wouldn't tie himself to that sinking ship
I hear ya, but 75 million votes isn’t a bad starting point and it was done with fricking mike pence. How many votes is Desantis worth as a side kick? If these two go at each other, neither one can win. Either one needs turnout from the entirety of republican voters. Drawing lines in the sand will cause people to stay home on Election Day.

It won’t matter if Trump/DeSantis would get 100MM votes…the Dems would “get” 110MM.
We do not have election integrity.
Without election integrity, all this talk is pointless and hopeless.

If younwere advising him, he'd be smoking meth and working at the gas station

DeSantis is only 44 years old.. The guy hasn't even hit his political peak yet.. He is smart, quick witted and got the balls of a bull.. He has plenty of years to go..

Timing is everything.
Indeed it is.
Which is why you avoid taking the the hit from America First. You go to work to make things better in FL and have the next man ready to roll.
You then announce you are running in 2028 the day you announce the person you back for Gov of Fl.
You spend the next 2 years going around nationally and build faith from the ground up!
At this point, he is taking on water with the block of people he is surrounding himself with. People are looking and holding elected GOP officials accountable. Look at the GOPe losses in office to America First.
The longer he waits to address those concerns, the harder it's going to be for America First to trust him. Griffin is what will sink him.
I personally have high hopes for him. But I will not vote for him with these people surrounding him

I hope you're wrong but sadly the results of recent elections are rife with fraud. I don't see Dem states giving up their mail in voting golden egg...

He will have been out of the governors office in 2028 two years.
Sometimes Math is hard
RD will be sworn in sometimes in Jan 2023. His term runs until Jan 2027. The first primary for 2028 is in Feb 2028. He has barely a year to secure those votes. Being out of office allows him to go non-stop for that nomination

Then yes, he did tell randos. In fact, a lot of the randos from their gated, waterfront community were there

Yes, Trump is. Has grown the party in minority groups all around the USA.
