So an agency, which helps soldiers, in some cases, deal with mental illness and post-traumatic stress, is going to start introducing a new form of mental illness and post-traumatic stress of having your genitals mutilated?

This just pisses me off to no end. I'm a Navy Veteran. Spent time on an aircraft carrier and now my hearing is shite. I can't get them to pay for hearing aids because my service was over in the 90's and they want to say I have loss of hearing due to other factors. FFS, I slept underneath the forward catapults.
Now, if I want to cut off my dick and get hormone treatment, they will pay for that 100%. CLOWN WORLD! Our founding fathers would have been shooting by now.

I’m a veteran that’s currently going thru chemo treatments for Non Hodgkins Lymphoma that several doctors have said is a result of exposure to Agent Orange, and can not get any disability because the VA says my condition is not service related. Filed an appeal, VA said it may take 2 to 6 years to appeal the process. It’s almost 5 years now.
Asked my congressman for help, no help, didn’t even thank me for my service, just a rubber stamped exact copy of the VA refusal letter on his letterhead.
But the VA will probably foot the bill for sex change procedure?

My sister is a nurse,retired from VA hospital Seattle couple years ago.They were doing sex change operations there before she retired.
