I really think that they are going to be mocked, ridiculed, and ignored if that try that.

They’ll never get anywhere with that. Eventually it would end with SCOTUS ruling that there had been no conviction for sedition. And they can’t rush one through unless they can get a group of Republicans to vote for impeachment in the House, then conviction in the Senate.

You're posting quotes from an article from February 2024.

I dont get your point. That is an election year.

Are you trying to say 8 months is archaic?

This is becoming the norm maybe. I see a bunch of posters saying it was yesterday and old hat, does not mean now, that was before.

Unless you were recorded or 'heard' saying things by only certain people of a certain political affiliation.

Can y'all not read? The literal next line (that Rog left out and didn't address when he was spoon fed it)

The Supreme Court ruling on the issue was about a week later and shut this down.

You think they've had a big change of heart about Trump? After everything you've seen over the last 8 years?

Don't be an idiot.

You cant. People have been telling you for two pages here that the discussion is real and you totally ignore it.

If this is sentiment within the opposition, you should take notice, theyre telling you what they believe.

They;ll do anything to stop a Republican from taking office.

He's a progressive. He cannot find it within him to find fault in anti Democratic sentiment.

Not particularly, but their options are limited and they don't want to look stupid.

So in summary, no, “the Dems” don’t plan to use the 14th amendment to disqualify Trump.

And yet, no evidence was posted to support this, while I posted direct evidence to refute this.

No I asked you for examples.

They can't. Their opportunity to pass a law to do it has passed.

No shite; that's why it won't happen.

That says nothing about their desire for it to happen and what they might try with a more liberal court or if another favorable set of circumstances presented itself.

Gavin Newsome hasn't talked about wanting to be president recently, so following your "logic" he no longer wants to be president.

Well if her plans were to go as expected they will loose their dividends and wealth. Only the rich can survive unrealized property tax gains and more. I dont think all of Congress is “rich” but I could be wrong. It would be interesting to see what middle class property owners would do.

You're talking about literal multi-layered hypotheticals here.

I have a feeling he's been given a talk and understands it is no longer in his future. That's postulation, but I've called my shot on the post-election movement of the DEM party.
