Democrats take majority in House = we return to civility

That's what Hillary said would happen in an interview if Democrats resumed power in one the 2 braches of Congress.
....And? ....and now we have a government shutdown over 5.7 billion to protect our borders, being blamed on the President who apparently works for Putin and colluded with to beat Hillary.
Welcome back to civility!
When you try put it all together what's been going on the last 2.5 years, it's downright scary times.
Makes my blood boil, but the fact we can do nothing about our crappy leaders who run the country is very humbling and sad.

The shutdown began during the last Congress, when republicans controlled the House.

Are you capable of reading the fricking title of the thread?
Where is the "civility" among democrats?

You can't negotiate with terrorist or the regressive left.

It'll happen, I believe within the next 2-3 weeks.
Once Trump finally gets it in his adamant Wall-addled skull that the government shutdown is hurting the country, he'll relent and sign any bill Pelosi gets on his desk.
Once the government gets back up open, and the Democratic majority which was voted in by the American people gets back to governing, we return to civility. The federal government, and by extension the country, becomes a more just, verdant and peaceful place.

Are you really a tranny? I’m asking seriously because I see people refer to you as that quite often.

And?? You do know that appropriation bill passed out of that Republican controlled house is sitting in the senate waiting for Less than 10 lib senators to vote to end cloture.. right?
HR 695 is sitting in the Senate waiting for Schumer to reopen the government.
As misinformed as you libs are on government... you can’t ever wonder why no one with a brain takes you seriously.

You're missing parts of the process here:
Democrats take the majority in the House and give the Orange Anus his first experience with genuine Congressional oversight, rather than the milquetoast Cuck-publican variety he's used to. Sooner or later, he'll go into "cut my losses" mode (remember all those bankruptcies?) and resign, or die, or get impeached, etc. Once he's out of office, then and only then will we return to civility.

You have been melting so gloriously these past few weeks.

Good question. I have no idea why right wingers call everyone “gay” or “a tranny” when they don’t suck Trump’s dick all day. That’s the best their diseased brains can come up with.
I’m more of a typical educated south Louisiana fishing camp baw. I did wear a dress once in high school when the senior starters dressed up like the homecoming court for the pep rally. That was hysterical. Otherwise, no,this is a right wing perversion obsession, typical of idiots.

You mean when we can take up:
HR 40: Commission to Study and Develop Reparation Proposals for African-Americans Act
HR 41: Rejecting White nationalism and White supremacy.
HR 14: impeaching Donald John Trump, President of the United States, for high crimes and misdemeanors.(With unproven allegations)
Those kinds of civility?

I think anyone who believed that was going to happen is extremely naive. I would like to think most people knew better than to believe it. I don't think this country is going to return to any version of civility within politics. The only way I can see any type of civility in politics take place is if some type of high level assassination takes place. I realize Scalise happened, but the average american had no idea who the he was. Hell I know I didn't. But IMO it would have to be an executive branch level person. A potus candidate, etc. The cease fire wouldn't last, but it would at least cool down. And possibly open up peoples eyes.
Who am i kidding........?
