I won't be wondering. Rs haven't implemented enough of Trump's agenda.

would never get a conviction in the Senate

Well - you say that - in a 52R/48D Senate, with 100% fealty among the Dems, it wouldn't take much more than 1/3 of the Rs to convict.

Not a pleasant prospect.

Short of actual proof of an actual crime, it would never happen.

And honestly, I don't even believe the Dems would try to impeach anyway.

I think that was all talk right up there with "lock her up" that didn't result in anything because long term the political ramifications aren't good if you fail.

Look at the last time a President was impeached but not convicted, he actually GAINED in popularity.

People were motivated to defeat the socialist candidates in the primaries.

I didn’t not see why the democrats are so excited about possibly winning the house . The GOP can’t seem to get anything done anyways . If democrats got control of the house they would either pass nothing to the senate or pass the crazy ideas they have they will assure they loose the house in 2020 . The senate is far more important. I would take 57 in the senate and loose the house in this election. It would give Trump and the GOP a chance to have the house , 60+ in the senate and president.

If the dems take the house, that means people in purple areas turned out for dems and even vote out a few republicans in trump areas.

How do you propose republicans increase numbers in senate while losing close ones in dustricts they held for 6 or 8 years.
It is not likely. Is it? A statistical anomoly if it happened.
You give up 200 more yards than you gain, you can't count on turnovers.

If Dems surge to vote in each House district the GOP will lose the Senate as well. The 2 go hand in hand.

If the gop gets enough votes to hold current Senate seats and gain some, they should narrowly hold the house

Nah. Landscape is very different for Dems in the Senate.
