Doubling down on stupid.

There is growing momentum within the Democratic Party to find its next ObamaCare heading into the midterms, as healthcare costs become more untenable and American anger over affordability persists.

The expiration of the enhanced Affordable Care Act (ACA) tax credits dealt a heavy blow to Democrats in Congress, who carried out the longest government shutdown in history to get a vote on extending the subsidies.
In the wake of the expired tax credits, premiums jumped by more than 20 percent and ACA enrollment dropped this year after previously experiencing four consecutive years of record growth.
While the House passed a 3-year extension on the subsidies at the start of the year, efforts in the Senate have led nowhere, leaving a vacuum for parts of the Democratic coalition to submit their proposals for a successor.

Put together by former Democratic aides and staffers at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, it would allow all Americans the option of enrolling in Medicare regardless of age, even allowing employers to select Medicare by Choice as their employees’ workplace benefit.
The Searchlight Institute released its own proposal last month to make primary care free for all Americans and to create a nonprofit public option for coverage. Recalling how former President Obama called the ACA a “starter home” for more affordable healthcare, Searchlight wrote in its proposal that “now is the time to upgrade that starter home by making health care work better for all Americans.

We are going to lower costs by expanding one of the most fraud-ridden boondoggles in American history?

They want to pass “Single Payer” like European countries & call it something else to get it passed. Obamacare was built & passed to Fail. This is their long term plan.

There's only 2 "solutions" that will eventually come -- could take years for us to be truly bankrupt but this is what will boil down to:
Single payer (I'd like to think American's would never submit to being taxed at a 60 or 70% clip but I've lost my faith in them)
Total free market (Again, I'd like to think Americans would embrace freedom but only about 5% of us do that -- this would be most efficient but people believe too much what the media tells them)

Of course. Dems and Independents will be 100% in on it. And of course 3/4 of Republicans will be too.
