Today and yesterday the media were doing overtime work to make the SNAP cuts and the shutdown a GOP/Trump failure. The most recent polls still show the GOP is being blamed.
Until recently too many on the right were just not into this fight. But it is the biggest fight going on, bigger than the mayoral/governor elections set tomorrow.
I sadly don't think the GOP have done a good job in getting out their side of the story until the last week or so. The media are basically doing the job of the DEM pr dep. Read the post on TD PT...most of the MAGA baws don't care at all.

For the Dims, they are refusing to approve continuing to use the Biden budget which they have done in the past.
For the R's, they are voting to continue to use the Biden budget despite the OBBB being passed.
Both are trying to circumvent the OBBB.
