That could be it - I think most companies and institutions do lean fairly left-wing so it could cause people to bunker down if they think the criticism is unfair.

Well as a group they certainly seem upset about him. (sarcasm)
I have yet to hear any dem complain about Biden. The only two politicians are in DC and they are about have their minds righted.

The question was whether people who criticize Biden should be accepted within the party.
I'm perfectly okay with people criticizing Biden. The guy's made mistakes and I'm not even bothered by people criticizing him on this board. I don't agree with many of the criticisms but I'm not too bothered that people criticize the guy.
I'm not sure I could say that this board is accepting of people criticizing Trump.

Because Biden has proven himself to be an absolute shite president, the worst in my lifetime and the criticism is deserved.
Trump wasn't perfect but he was pretty good and the majority of criticism was horseshite.

It was specifically about the general Democratic leaning public being “accepting” of elected officials within the Democratic Party being critical of Biden.
I would humbly request that you link any news article wherein an elected Democratic official, at any level of government, is quoted and identified by name as being critical of Biden.

Because Biden is such a terrible president that even his mindless party can’t hold back anymore and pretend he’s not the worst president in modern history.
Republicans simply didn’t believe the big lie that Trump was a Russian agent and refused to criticize him for that big lie.
