I've been a little confused about why Nadler and Schiff are continuing on with impeachment even after the Mueller testimony disaster. Now I'm hearing that the reason is because Nadler and Dems from dark blue districts are actually facing primary challenges from progressive candidates further to the left than they are because their base is demanding impeachment.

They have no one to blame but themselves. The democrats in conjunction with the MSM have been pushing this narrative for so long that their base believes it to be a fact that Trump is a Russian agent occupying that white house, he's a white supremacist and guilty of obstruction of justice and Bill Barr came in to cover up all of his crimes.

Imagine how unsettling that must be for those poor souls suffering from TDS.

I wonder how many seats Justice Democrats are gunna pick off during the primaries. How many long term (Pelosi-type) Democrats get booted by a radical AOC type that’s much more vulnerable against a centrist R with TRUMP at the top of the ballot

Yes, some Democrats in dark blue districts risk losing their seats if they don’t follow through on impeachment. At the same time Democrats in “swing” districts will likely lose their seat, and Dems lose the House, if they vote for impeachment

The Democratic Party really is a mess right now.

Hard to say. At least a handful I gotta think. Then you've got the Dems that just flipped districts that Trump carried in 2016 that are now exposed and vulnerable, and Trump's on the ballot this time around.

I've got high hopes for 2020.

Well most of them don’t know what conundrum means for starters.

Keep it simple - dilemma or something like that

Impeachment is pointless at this time because the senate will never back it up.

We've seen this before.

Time to move on.
